While many know the business for its exceptional coffee, artisan gelato, and thoughtfully crafted menu offerings, what truly sets Provisions apart is the sense of connection and belonging it creates within the community.
Owner Jesse Renfors built Provisions on a simple but meaningful vision. To create a welcoming environment where people can gather, build relationships, and enjoy quality experiences together. After successful ventures in the coffee industry out west, Jesse and his family returned home to the Upper Peninsula with a desire to invest in the region that shaped them. Their goal was not simply to open another coffee shop, but to create a space that would bring people together and contribute to the vibrancy of the community.
Since opening its doors, Provisions has become exactly that. Whether it's a student meeting friends for a study session, a local entrepreneur hosting a business meeting, a family enjoying a weekend outing, or visitors experiencing the hospitality of the Upper Peninsula for the first time, Provisions serves as a gathering place where meaningful connections can be made every day.
