Junior Explorer Pass: Harvesting Family Connection Outdoors

As summer comes to a close, there’s no better time than now to make those moments a priority. For children, those adventures become even more exciting when they’re part of a game. The destination becomes a spot on the map that they get to check off while discovering something new on the way. Each place helps them to become more familiar with their hometown while creating special moments with family. That’s what makes the Travel Marquette Junior Explorer Pass so special! Marquette County is turned into a journey, encouraging families to get outside, experience new places, and strengthen connection.
This summer, Forsyth Forward is thrilled to support Travel Marquette with their Junior Explorer Pass. Available now until September 7th, this fun tool is a great way to help get kids and families outdoors. The pass invites children to explore Marquette County responsibly, learn about the Leave No Trace principles, learn practical stewardship principles, and build a deeper connection with nature. When you are ready for your next adventure, simply sign up on the Travel Marquette website or stop in to the Forsyth Forward office to learn more about the program.
After free sign up, the pass will be delivered directly to your phone via text and email. It is ready to use immediately and does not require any app downloads. You will be given a list of select locations to visit where you can check in, earn points, and win prizes. To easily check in at each place, you can enable your location services so that the GPS does it automatically. Three check-ins earn you the Junior Explorer Pass, and all seven locations earn you the insulated Adventure Backpack. The prizes will be awarded to every participant in the journey.
Away from screens, chores, and daily distractions, families have the opportunity to truly connect outdoors.
